Adding Titles In Premiere Pro

Learn how to add titles to your projects in Premiere Pro CC.

Titles are great for helping you tell your story in Premiere Pro CC. Titles can also be effectively used to point out relevant information, give a call to action, opening and end credits and identify people or places in your video. The following video will show you some of the basics of the title tool in Premiere Pro CC.

Key Points from the Video

  • Move playhead to where you want title to be
  • Go to the Graphics Work Space
  • With a title selected, use the Edit tab in the Essential Graphics panel to change settings such as font, color, and layout.

  • Drag the ends of your title to change the duration, right click on the ends of your title to add default transition. (additional transitions can be found in the effects panel.)
  • Switch back to the Editing workspace when your done.
