Fernanda Silva Mendoza

Fernanda Silva Mendoza is a Photography major at the University of Arizona. They enjoy creating surreal and conceptual images the most, bringing the mystical and ethereal into focus. Each photo is well thought out and often has a story embedded in it. Fernanda is a photographer for a small business and takes photography clients as they come on top of being a full-time student. Their freelance work includes senior photos, maternity shoots, headshots for various purposes, photographing spaces, and more. Over the years, they have participated in many competitions, had their work displayed under the capital, as well as at the UofA’s Museum of Art multiple times. They work in many other mediums as well, including drawing, sculpture, and painting, they even were part of an incredible group of artists and community members who painted a mural on Euclid. They look forward to developing their technical skills and learning new techniques both in the field and in class, in ways that enhance the way they view and develop art.
