Fall 2026: 7-Week Adobe Courses

From October 15 through December 9, explore industry-leading creative tools through online, asynchronous, 1-unit, 7-week courses designed to build hands-on skills in visual communication and digital content creation.

SBS 350 – Introduction to Adobe Creative Cloud
Explore multimedia communication through a rhetorical lens using Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly, Premiere Pro, and Figma. Develop digital storytelling and design skills while considering copyright, accessibility, and the role of words, images, and sound in 21st-century communication.

HSD/SBS 406/506 – Adobe Photoshop
Build foundational skills in pixel-based image editing and compositing while exploring how images shape visual culture. Learn to work with layers, apply non-destructive editing techniques, make image adjustments, and use visual storytelling to create compelling image-based narratives.

HSD/SBS 405/505 – Adobe Illustrator
Explore the possibilities of vector graphics and digital illustration while developing a stronger eye for visual communication. Learn essential design techniques, create original illustrations, and build practical skills using flexible, non-destructive workflows.
