There are important upcoming changes to the university’s Adobe licensing that will affect Creative Cloud access for faculty and staff. Current licenses expire May 12. You can request your new license immediately.

For Employees

Your existing Creative Cloud license will expire on May 12. 

Adobe Sign access remains unchanged.

Important Actions Required

To maintain access, submit a self-service request for a new license.

What's New for Everyone

  • All university students, faculty, staff, and DCC will automatically receive access to Adobe Express Premium, including Firefly Generative AI and Adobe Stock features.

What Stays the Same

  • Adobe Express Pro (automatically provided to all)
  • Adobe Sign access
  • Shared Device Licenses

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request Acrobat Pro access?

Submit a self-service request if you need continued access. If you have a Creative Cloud license you will not need to make a request as this includes Acrobat.

Will I lose my current Creative Cloud access?

Faculty and Staff will lose access to Creative Cloud on May 12. You can request access at any time. Please allow 24 hours for the license to be provisioned.

What can I do with Acrobat Reader?

You can open, view, sign, print, annotate, search, and share PDF files.

How do I access Express Premium?

Go to express.adobe.com and sign in with your netid@arizona.edu. If prompted, select "company or school account."

What's included in Adobe Express Premium?

Adobe Express is a user-friendly online design tool that enables individuals and teams to create a variety of visual content, including social media graphics, posters, flyers, and videos. It offers a range of templates, images, and design assets, making it accessible for users with little to no design experience.

Will I lose access to my Creative Cloud files without a license?

No, you can still access your libraries with or without a license.

When do these changes take effect?

Faculty and Staff Creative Cloud license changes take effect May 12, 2025.

Will these changes affect Shared Device Licenses?

There will be no changes or actions necessary with SDL devices.
